Keeping good employees happy
The COVID pandemic caused many people to evaluate their lives at every level including their jobs. This reflection led to many changes, including resignations. According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, 4.15 million people quit their jobs in August 2022, an increase in the normal turnover statistic.
Turnover is expensive for companies and considering that “toxic corporate culture” was one of the top reasons a Flexjobs study found for employee resignation, it’s no wonder that companies are considering the addition of wellness resources as investment in company culture and one that can make the difference between whether an employee stays or goes.
According to the 2022 Employee Wellness Industry Trends Report by Wellable Labs, 76% of companies are investing more in stress management and resilience resources for their team members, all of which can be used for work situations as well as in their personal lives.
